Hi guys, Just to update where I am with this. I've searched and searched but have been unable to find the correct hose. I have a friend who is a mechanic who will take a look and see if he can source a new aftermarket hose. If he finds one, I will post here for others in future 👌.

Thought I would try my luck, appreciate the support. Final question if you don't mind, are there any images of the hose you mentioned (6R2 423 893E) as I'm seeing multiple hoses (non - genuine) for around £120 - £170 but I don't know what "my" hose looks like so I'm clicking everything trying to find something that references my vehicle and/or the part number listed above.

Hi Pete, Thanks for the quick response! Wowzers, that is an expensive hose, would you by chance know if there are any aftermarket parts available or where I could look/source from other than eBay? The car will only do around 2k miles per year maybe 3k so I'm not too worried about a cheaper hose not lasting as long because the likelihood is we will get a new car before it failed (hopefully more than 2 years). I am well and truly in the "cheap and cheerful" camp at the moment. Maybe if it had gone after owning the car for a year, I'd go for the genuine but I'm not in a position to be forking out hundreds at the moment. Thanks again for the speedy response :)

Hi everyone, I have a Fabia Mk2 and the power Steering went the other day. I took it to a local garage who quoted me upwards of £600 to replace the HP hose and the return hose. The HP hose is ruptured and the return is corroded. Im trying to source the correct parts to maybe attempt the repair myself as we only purchased the car 2 months ago for £1,200 and this surprise cost before Xmas isn't ideal. If anyone can help me find the correct hose or part numbers that would be great or if anyone has any support they can share with regards to sourcing and changing the hoses that would be fantastic.
