  1. I haven't. But went out to the car last night and it all worked as it should. I'll monitor it in future. Thanks both for taking the time to reply. Andy
  2. Thanks for the info. I'll give the dealer a call on Monday and see what they suggest. Andy
  3. Used the rear heated seats in my 2025 Octavia SE L yesterday. and my son was unable to turn off the rear left heating. If you turn the right one on, then press the button more times the indicators show the heating level going down and eventually going off. However, for the left hand one, all 3 indicator lights are on, and repeated presses of the button shows no change. This even persisted after stopping the car, getting out, locking for 5 or 10 minutes and then returning to the car. I haven't been out to check it today, but just wondering if anyone else has seen anything like this? Thanks Andy
  4. I've driven autos sporadically in the past, even almost bought a Fiat Stilo with the paddle change. However, I always found 'traditional' autos just couldn't keep up with the way I drive (or probably more accurately, drove!). The DSG is a whole different animal though, and when combined with ACC and Travel Assist it's a game changer! Andy
  5. Hi, I'm a 50-something Software Engineer. Always been a fan of cars and driving, including owning a share in a racing kart, two Westfields (one of which I competed with in Sprints). Always been a fervent manual car driver, but after replacing my Mondeo with a manual Octavia in June 2025 and driving my wife's Scala with the DSG gearbox (purchased at the same time), I started to become converted. 'Upgraded' to a DSG Octavia in September 2025, and gradually getting to grips with it! Andy
