  1. Thanks so much! That helps a lot. I will check the hose this weekend.
  2. Hi Cossty. Thanks, for the update! Do you know which hose it was? And please let me know if the sound comes back. @BlueWagon, yes it sounds like something is slipping when the airco has to work hard. I told the garage I thought it was over gassed, so they hooked it up to the filler a second time. Which was a temporary fix. The airco (compressor?) also makes a bit more noise since the airco service.
  3. Thanks mac, good morning Yes, it was a brilliant little car. We had the 3 door 60 bhp Greentech edition. We wanted the slightly lowered suspension because it didn't sway as much in the corners. And we chose a 3 door because with the bigger front doors I felt less cramped and it was much easier to get in and out with my 6ft4 height. I had the original armrest installed from the factory and a few months later the cruise control. Must have upgrades in my opinion. After a few years I had the engine chipped to 75 bhp. Which was totally worth the 150 euro's. Instead of the engine losing power after 4500 rpm it would pull till the red line which made going up long climbs at 70-80 mph a lot easier. In 2021 I became a father and because we travel a lot we needed a bigger car. So we exchanged the Citigo for a Octavia MK4. Wished I could have kept the Citigo, but I live in the city, so I couldn't.
  4. Hi Cossty, I have exactly the same noise. Also when the engine is warm and I'm pretty sure it's my airco. I have the 1.0 TSI manual, so it's probably not the electronics. It's mostly in first gear, but also sometimes in second. The first time I heard the noise was after a Airco Service. So I decided to drive a while with the airco switched off and I didn't hear the sound once. I contacted the garage and they did the service again and it was gone for a few days, but it came back. Less than before, but still there sometimes. And only when the outside temperature is warmer than 19 degrees. I don't hear the noise when the airco isn't working a lot. I hope we can find out what it is exactly.
  5. Hello all, I'm usually not very active on forums, but I decided to register to Briskoda because I might be of some help and I might need some help with my 2021 Octavia IV. I like the Octavia which I bought new, but it has some niggles, which I can live with as long as they don't get worse. I owned a Skoda Citigo for 8 years, also from new, and I fell in love with it, but was worried in the beginning about the gearbox and the clutch. However after 8 years and 70.000 kilometers the clutch rattle in neutral and the stubborn reverse gear were exactly the same as when I bought the car. Thanks in advance for all you help! Lo_Hi
