  1. I figured, and that's the reason I made this post in a hope that somebody found a solution for this, who can share it with us. I work on electronics so connecting with the charger's leads is not a problem, my problem is exactly as you thought is with aesthetics, since I was hoping that exist some aftermarket solution for it. I will stick with the lighter port usb charger than.
  2. That's exactly what I want to avoid. I also searched for buttons with usb port but I could only find those for Golf mk6. Although these seems like exactly what I want, does anybody know they are compatible with the Octavia 3?
  3. HI everyone! I was wondering does anybody know if it's possible to add charging usb port to one of the blank/"poverty" button in front of the gear stick?
  4. You need to have a bidirectional capable obd reader, like VCDS, ds150e or OBDeleven. In the app first you need to conenct to the climate control module, there will be an option for bidirectional testing, it's the menu where you can turn on/off some funtions of the car based on the module you are in, in this example (fans, pumps, etc....)
  5. I didn’t bleed it properly afterward. I clamped/blocked the hoses, so coolant loss was nearly zero. After the replacement, I topped up the coolant with less than 0.5 L. What I did was run the pump manually via OBD, so the air bubbles were gone when I initially started the system.
  6. I replaced mine as well and it solved the issue.
  7. @Fuki @Cairus any update? I have the same issue. The only difference is that, in my case, it appeared after the battery was disconnected for service. After reconnecting the same old battery, I initially received multiple error messages. After a short test drive, all other errors cleared, and only the Emergency Call warning remained. The SOS button on the roof is lit green. I have already completed a longer, three-hour road trip, and the car was connected to a charger for an entire day, but the issue persists. I also tried pressing the SOS button and canceling the call on the infotainment system before it connected, but that did not help. For me, the warning always appears when I turn the ignition on.
  8. For anyone with the same issue. I just fixed mine. I replaced the temperature sensor on the Webasto (Skoda part number 5Q0 898 047, Webasto article number W9045211A). It’s really not that hard to do at home, although there are a few more difficult or tricky parts. One example is the crimped fuel line on the Webasto - at least for me, the main issue was that I didn’t have a suitable crimp on hand. Reinstalling the wheel liner also took quite some time. The original thread about this issue: https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/527570-aux-heater-false-overheating-fault/
  9. Did that solve the problem? Can you point to me where can I find the whole document? My octavia have the same fault code, and after looking at the data it shows "overtemp" on outside temperature.
  10. Hi everyone. I have a 2018 Octavia Mk3 facelift with factory auxiliary heating. When I try to start it using the remote, the LED blinks fast green, and when I try from the infotainment screen, it shows “auxiliary heating error.” I scanned the car with a DS150E OBD tool and got the following error code: B138F4B – overtemp. If I clear the code and try again, it immediately comes back. In live data, the water temperature sensor reports valid values, but the outside temperature sensor shows “overtemp.” Although in a different data list it shows the correct outside temperature (around 8°C). My first thought was a bad sensor, but since I can still see the correct temperature reading somewhere else, I’m not sure. Does anyone know what might be causing this or which sensor could be faulty?
