Im looking for a part number im not quite sure what to call it, i suppose it would be called "the cover" that clips on over the air duct at the very front of the engine bay where it sucks in air, i have attached a picture here, if anyone can help it would be great, Thanks

id get some sand paper aswell, maybe 600 or 800 and it will take all the heavy stuff then polish with metal polish

Yeah i bought that lidl one here in ireland thinking it would be alright like but it was completly ****, any kind of pressure applied to it and it would slow right down, i brought it back and got my money back

Got my octavia vrs tfsi scanned with vagcom this week and this was an error that came up? can anyone shed any light on this? ive searched but to no avail, Or can anyone tell me where the sensor is located? i presume around the sump somewhere? Thanks alot Darren

Open the bonnet and check your air intake going to the airbox, mine makes a slight kind of noise that your describing, i tried tightening it but to no avail, have a look at yours and see before you go changing stuff like droplinks etc
