Thanks i will give this a go over the weekend.

I have a mk2 vrs estate and a little way back my drivers window stopped working so a friend who is a mechanic said its the window regulator. They didn't have part available anymore through tps or what not so ordered one of ebay but was a lhd one from romanina fixed the window but recently failed the mot because the indicator was indicating the wrong direction. So i put the other one in to sort the issue with indicator so it would pass mot but now windows don't work and the central locking is playing up. i have tried 3 second hand ones with the correct part number from the correct regulator but none of them work. Does anyone have any ideas what could be up? could it be comfort control module? Thanks in advance
