  1. Hello there, I have a Skoda Fabia. A car that I am very fond of in general. For a while it could only blow on setting 4, so full speed. Advised by this forum and YouTube I took upon myself the task to change the blower resistor. Previously to engaging that task I disconnected the battery. The changing went fairly easy (I did curse some along the way) and when I turned on the ignition all the blower settings worked. However…. Going from bad to worse, now the front window wiper (and maybe the rear window wiper) is wiping constantly (on occasions). It is sometimes not wiping constantly and functioning normally, but it seems that the constant wiping error is becoming more so frequent. It seems like the error is more likely to appear when you turn the ignition slowly. Any advice on this matter is highly appreciated… I was thinking of cleaning the cables pins and/or changing the wiper motor… or maybe just leave the mess I caused to my mechanic.
