  1. Ended up getting a whole new unit fitted in, couldn’t diagnose the issue. If anyone is interested in buying the faulty unit to repair and sell on let me know. Thanks to everyone for trying to help :)
  2. Wish it was that simple, got to the point where I went to the shop just to buy a new battery to see if that was the issue and still the same :(
  3. Right so the screen fits but the exact same issue is still happening :/ any adivce?
  4. If it helps it’s a mib 2 Columbus with canyon sound, the part number for the screen is 5E0 919 606
  5. Hi mate, how be only just made this account I can’t private message 😬. I’ve changed the digitiser screen and that did not change anything. You reckon if I just order the whole new screen unit with the buttons on it it should work?
  6. Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone can help me. Recently bought a Skoda Octavia 2016 vrs mk3 and all was good until the infotainment screen decided to freeze up out of nowhere. Basically the screen turns on and goes to the radio player, the time is accurate and whatnot. However it seems to be unresponsive to everything like the touchscreen, side buttons and buttons on the steering wheel. I’ve done a lot of research online and nothing seems to fix this issue. I’ve tried: Changing the fuses. Soft reset (holding power button down 15sec) Hard reset (leaving battery disconnected) Changed the digitiser All the wiring seems okay And nothing seems to fix it and I feel as though I’m going crazy, don’t feel like cashing out on a expensive visit to the garage so if anyone can give a little advice it’ll be greatly appreciated
