  1. Took it to the dealer, printed the above and showed it to the service manager who appeared not to know about this issue. Wanted me to come back in the afternoon however no way was I going to do that as I wanted to be there so I waited. One hour later. "All OK" he said "there was a fault in the high voltage charge circuit" BS!! In other words they updated the software but weren't going to admit it. Still missing lots of features showing in their web ads but "There is an update in the pipeline this year" he said. We wait with baited breath.....NOT.
  2. Sincere thanks for your replies, particularly luckypants but.......... The charge profile screen does not have the ability to specify times to charge, like many other features showcased on the Skoda factory videos like "home parking" The Aussie version does not have embedded maps so doesn't know where it is without Carplay... and that's another reeely annoying thing. Wife has had to buy a new phone as her 3 yr old Moto G82 Android v13 simply would not connect. Dealer, myself and young techie tried 20 minutes to no avail so she has had to buy a new phone which means if I drive I'm map less, cant make calls etc etc. here in Queensland if you are caught using your phone without hands free it's (today) an $1140 fine goes up regularly! Also devoid of road signs in the HUD so if you miss a speed change sign and get a photo in the mail it's yet another fine. And "bleedin &!# Laura" is totally useless. Can't make calls, send texts or ask for directions "I'm sorry, I don't know how to do that" Have to use the phone again. Booked into the dealer's Wednesday, I've copied some of your comments to them and that will hopefully get something happening. Will advise
  3. The Elroq was only released in October in AU and we bought the first one from the dealer after driving a pre release vehicle back in July Wife's new Elroq 130 2 weeks old has an "interesting problem" Love the car but the Au importers appear to have stripped out some feature to maybe save a few $$(Of course not, would they?) We have a 13kw solar array currently and 20kw battery bank about to be installed however currently using the supplied 2.4kw wall charger 240VAC @10A The problem: We have been forced to have smart electrickery meter installed and we here in the Gold coast and most of SE Queensland have 4 electricity tariffs, the cheapest is from 10PM through until 08AM. We're oldies so staying up till 10 pm is an issue as we are up typically at 5 or 6 A M, so I tried using a mains timer. Does not charge! Plug in supplied Skoda charger, set the timer for 10.05PM, power on. At 10.05 the timer activates, the charger shows one LED for power but no output. The Elroq port is red. Test: Daytime plug in and power on.... Charger cycles and begins charging, slow flash at both the charger and Elroq port. All OK. Turn off the mains, wait 10 minutes or several hours, turn on the mains again and zero output. So the only way to charge appears to be manually inserting the charge plug and applying power within a minute or so, and a delay stops it. Does anyone know a way around this? Skoda Australia simply say take back to the dealer however long discussions with the dealer have given me zero hope, they have no idea and refer me back to Skoda AU.
