One more VERY annoying thing that is now happening with my Škoda Octavia 2025 1.5TSI DSG Mhev is that the brakes are squealing when slowly braking while reversing... it is -5 degrees at my location so this could be the reason, I have 6000km on my car and this was not happening before. Is this normal?

Unfortunately no... I think we are all just living with it. I have been to two different dealerships and they told me that all Mhev 2025 VAG car have that. I am still suspicious and think that they just cannot/will not figure out how to resolve this. Please let us know what they tell you.

I've seen at least 10 different people online saying they have this issue, for example: https://www.reddit.com/r/skoda/comments/1mbfdi6/brake_pedal_clicking_sound_when_pressed/ But also on a lot of youtube videos, also you can hear the clicking on almost every drive test video on youtube, so it looks like we will hsve to get used to it unfortunately.... It is really annoying and sad too see because everyting else on this vehicle has been perfect for me.

Was your issue resolved? I have a Skoda Octavia 1.5 TSI DSG MHev and got the same exact problem... Went to the Skoda dealership, they told me it is because of the regenerative braking and that it is the ssme on every 2025 1.5TSI DSG MHev but I still find this very weird... Have the car for 4 months now, 5500km, issue is the same as on the first day
