Good Morning, I purchased a Skoda Karoq 18 plate in October 24. As soon as I got it home I noticed issues with the door locks. - key not being recognised - car locking itself with keys inside - car unlocking and locking whilst driving - unlock car with key and it quickly locks itself but mirrors do not go in as they usually would when you lock. I contacted the dealer and they booked it in with the garage local to them that they use, told they would cover costs. Turns out the went through the warranty I had purchased through them. Door locks were changed. July 25 issues start again. I am told ill need to visit the same garage as there is warranty on the parts. Booked in and locks changed again August 25. Fast forward to Nov 2025 and the issue starts again. I have noticed now that we are on the third occasion of the door locks failing that it seems to coincide with my dash playing up. For instance whilst driving, usually when my start stop kicks in the dash will start scrolling through driver data on its own without me pressing buttons on my wheel. I had asked the garage to look at my start stop previously as I thought there was an issue, the car cuts off before I have come to a stop. I can still be doing 10mph but because my foot is on the break the engine stops. It is then really slow to reengage and start up the engine. The light on the lock button is also flashing intermittently as I am driving. As if the locks are going on and off. Anyway im now having to look at taking my car in again for a full day to have the locks replaced. I am wondering if there is another issue causing it such as electrics? Can anyone advise if they have had similar issues? Really annoyed as I feel the issue was probably present before I purchased the car and now I've been left with a car i am continuing to have to take in and get fixed. Just today my car locked itself with keys inside, phone, laptop etc... as I was leaving for work. Any help much appreciated!
