  1. I can't send private messages because my account is new. Could you please help me so I can send it to you? Also, would it be possible for the link to be valid for a longer time? Thank you very much.
  2. Thanks for the input. While the system does use the car audio for directional sound, the error code I am getting via OBD is specifically B107C14 (Parking Aid Speaker - Open Circuit). This confirms that the system performs a resistance check on a dedicated hardware buzzer (sound generator), and because it detects an open circuit, it disables the whole system for safety. If it were a fuse, the module likely wouldn't communicate at all. I am trying to avoid the dealership because they quoted me €200 just for the diagnosis, excluding parts and labor. I have been struggling with this for over a month now and I've already checked the usual spots (B-pillars, roof lining, boot side panels) with no luck. I am really hoping to find someone with specific Octavia 4 (NX) experience who has actually physically located or replaced this buzzer before. Any specific diagrams or location tips for the NX model would be a lifesaver.
  3. Hi everyone, I am hoping someone can help me with a persistent issue on my Skoda Octavia 4 (NX), 2021 model, 1.0 TSI, regarding the parking sensor system. I have stripped down half the car interior but still cannot find the faulty component. Symptoms: When I engage reverse or activate the sensors, I get a dashboard warning: "Error: Park Assist Rear". On the infotainment screen, the car graphic appears with exclamation marks, and crucially, there is a red "crossed-out speaker" icon in the top right corner (I have attached photos of the errors). Diagnostics: The OBD scanner confirms the issue is the Rear Parking Aid Speaker / Buzzer (Open circuit / Defect). Because the system detects the speaker is blown/disconnected, it disables the entire parking assist system for safety. What I have checked so far (WITHOUT SUCCESS): I have been trying to physically locate the buzzer to replace it, but I cannot find it anywhere. Based on previous generations (Octavia 3), I dismantled and checked the following areas: Trunk/Boot: I removed the side trim panels (left and right) – nothing there. Headliner: Checked the rear area near the antenna – nothing. B-Pillars: I removed the upper trim on the B-pillars (seatbelt area) on both the driver and passenger sides – nothing there either. My Question: Has anyone experienced this on the Octavia 4 (NX)? Does anyone know the EXACT location of the rear parking buzzer on the 2021 model? I suspect it is the standard VAG part (5Q0 919 279), but I simply cannot locate it on the chassis. Any diagrams, photos, or specific pointers would be a lifesaver. Thanks in advance!
