Thanks for the responses - at the third time of checking, and being fobbed off as just one of those things with a DAB radio, my Skoda garage identified a break in the aerial embedded in the rear left hand side quarter glass. They have suggested that I complain to Skoda as the one year warranty they provided "doesn't cover glass", even though the glass is fine - it's the aerial that's broken. They are confident Skoda will sort it at no cost to me - we'll see!
  2. Can I get a code scanner? The dealer insists there are no error codes when they scan the vehicles so I must have a signal issue... but the prolem persists - the DAB stations keep fading out (including BBC World Service - I thought the clue was in the name) whenever I open the boot or if someone walks past the car or a car pulls up alongside (I have an Octavia Estate 2020 petrol auto).
