I guess I missed your reply as well @Breezy_Pete, but thanks for the input:) Here are some updates on my issues, in case anyone is experiencing something similar: A few weeks ago I was in contact with a parts retailer here in Norway, and they quoted me for a used B-revision throttle body. I specifically asked if they could guarantee compatibility, given that the B-revision is not listed as superseding the base revision 03F166062. He seemed adamant it would work. Still a bit sceptical, I decided to give it a try. Fast forward a few weeks, and I have now installed the new TB. There were a few hurdles getting the ECU to accept a new TB adaptation, but I think that was mostly due to the coolant temperature being too low. Once I got that to work, it seems to run just fine. Idle is smooth, and no fault codes or EPC lights. Based on this, it seems like 03F133062B is indeed compatible with the 1.2 CBZA. I only did a 20 minute test drive though. I'll post here again in a few weeks once I've done some more miles.

I have had some intermittent throttle body issues at startup in my 2013 Roomster 1.2 TSI (CBZA). The EPC lamp comes on and the car goes into limp mode. My OBD scan tool throws P210100. When the car has warmed up I can delete the fault code, and it runs perfectly. I have tried cleaning the throttle body, and doing a TB relearn. I have also had a mechanic do a (in his words) reset of the ECU and another TB relearn. Still the issues persist. I have therefore concluded that the throttle body probably needs replacing. This leads me to my questions: Should I go aftermarket or OEM, when getting a new throttle body? OEM TBs cost 3x-4x from what I have found, and availability is scarce at best here in Norway. I have found a few used ones from scrap dealers, some are quite cheap and with quite few miles on them. Is this a good idea, or are these TBs prone to failure? Lastly, are all the 03F-133-062 throttle body revisions interchangeable, or does the suffix letter matter? The later revisions seem to be easier to get a hold of Any help is much appreciated:)
