  1. Hi All Hope everyones doing well. I am after a bit of advise on my Skoda Rapid 2014 petrol car, The fuel tank flap is not opening even after pressing the unlock button multiple times and also tried unlocking the car from the central locking inside the car. Also, when I unlock the car, I couldnt hear any clicking sound from the flap. Not sure whats the actual problem here. Does anyone experienced this issue and have a solution for me ? Thank you Aravind
  2. Hey, thanks for your help. I notice that you are experiencing the rickety sound when the car is in idle due to oil seal. On my car it happens for 5-10 seconds on cold start. if the engine is already warm then there is no such sound. It ignites so smooth
  3. Happy New Year! Thank you so much for the reply.
  4. Thanks for your reply Yes, i got it serviced with right VW engine oil and filters. Also, the garage told the chain is good with no issues. They had no idea about the sound. He told if the sound is consistent then it must be a serious issue. If not then you can continue to drive. But just be cautious if the sound increases/comes while driving Another point he mentioned - there is more carbon deposit inside since the old owner didnt look after the car well. So, he flushed the engine. Told me to go with carbon cleaning service in the next service. whats your opinion here?
