  1. So I noticed tge offside (drivers side) front side light bulb wasn't working. Bought new bulbs (5w). Replace it and nothing. I then tried the new bulbs in the near side. Perfect. I then then confirmed i had a fault. Ive checked the fuses under the steering column. Nothing blown. I get 12v on the near side ans zero on the near side. I then split the cable and ran a temporary earth from the battery to the bulb to see if I had a earth fault. Still zero volts. Seems odd no power to that one bulb. I cant see how it can be the dashboard switch. Its a mystery to me at the moment. Any have any ideas? Year 2014 mk2 1.2 tsi auto. Appreciated Paul
