Thanks. I have a very basic odb reader but that comes back with no errors. I have just got a UART cable delivered as I thought I might need one. I just need to brush up where and what I need to do with it.

I think I have possibly just bricked my infotainment system. I decided whilst I had some spare time to update the firmware. Now it’s stuck in a loop ffs! Anyone seen this before? It shows up the usual VRs logo stays like that for a few minutes and then restarts itself It’s a 5Q0035874A I tried the fw version mst2_eu_sk_zr_p0480T

My stereo has been playing up lately and in a morning the screen is becoming unresponsive to touch for a period of time. So I’m looking to swap it out for another with car play ideally. Does anyone have any suggestions? Is a 2016 Octavia VRs estate Picture below of the system info
