Hello collective hive mind I have a 2013 1.2 tsi which I have acquired. A friend has owned this for 9 years-mostly faultless use-well serviced 3 weeks ago, came out to start it, it ran roughly and ground to a halt-He called the AA who changed a cracked spark plug, which did not improve it, and dragged to a local garage. At this point it appears that the parts cannon was primed and fired... a few times. timing chain kit,coil pack, leads, plugs,throttle body, fuel filter, HP fuel pump........ I have scanned it and it shows no codes, it will cough on easy start and run a few seconds. the lP fuel pump runs and has a good delivery, the battery is new and fully charged I am using and Ancel D700 scanner, the only thing that looks a bit off on datastream is that when I finish cranking, the fuel pressure drops fairly quickly -would this make a non start. any of you bored with strictly and turkey may have the time and intelligence to point me in the right direction TIA Parrish
