  1. Yeah have done Rob i have sent Colin a message. Some people on here just want to ruin it for some and iam sick of it. just because iam not a Feedom member no more the Nazis set on you
  2. Of the "Briskoda Police" Been a freedom member as well but sadly not at the moment. But i get more hassle of mods than anything else so iam leaving as its so childish and petty rules now if you are not a "Freedom" member no more. Hope you guys enjoy your Skodas.i will still have mine but not be on here no more. Nuff said.
  3. PCV driver here too and done mine also.
  4. Typical US "Oh my god" looks like he should bath more often
  5. Happened to my MK1 only on N/S/F sill which was done by Westover Skoda as they were the only people who ever touched the car and jacked it up but said they never done it as they don,t have any jacks in there garage  fooking idiots.
  6. If you have the EGR delete pipe on then you will have a constant CEL light on and will have to be mapped out to get rid of it. I think a clean up might sort it out though.A new EGR is about £150 i think
  7. Keep the Fabia great little cars and great economy too with performance. My warranty is up in November too and iam going to pay the £395 quoted from dealer for another years warranty because i will keep mine too. Stick with it and enjoy
  8. Are you sure its not just a pipe come off? they are prone for it with poor vag clips on them.
  9. EGR is at the back of engine on left. May well be very gunked up i suspect.
  10. I stick with 31 psi at front and 32 psi at rear.Mainly only max of 2 people in car.
  11. Its strange because it only appears under light throttle with me and only around 1800 - 2500rpm after that all is fine. Will happen if i try low down harsh acceleration but if i accelerate at 2000rpm for boost it won,t do it  or constant throttle on dual/motorway.Iam not really bothered about it as its done it since i got it at 10K miles and now on 31K.I will check with my dealer about this so called software update which apparently cures this but i haven,t heard of this.Just had all the intercooler seals done under warranty so i know its not air leak related and the MAF is 100% and the EGR doesn,t leak and theres no fault codes logged at all:confused:
  12. I have a similar thing to yours also. Its what i think is a "stutter" and it comes at around 1800rpm and clears at 2500rpm under light acceleration but if booted at about 2000rpm i don,t get it.I have held it at this rev range on a motorway and it does definately stutter. Its like the Fabia vRS,s they suffer also at this rev range (BLT engine).I think its a common thing with the 1.9 but somewhere on here i have read a guy from europe says there is a software update to cure this but iam not sure there is.Iam certainly wanting to find out from my dealer though.

  14. Ooooh i want your 17,s pleeeeez.Been looking for ages;)
  15. Wouldn,t bother with a water pump replacement on these engines.
  16. Mines just going to have its 2nd service next friday. They told me they will change the oil, air, fuel filters and also pollen filter too and brake inspection and full safety check of car at a total fixed price of £270 all in at my dealer. With yours being just 16K i would imagine it will only have an oil/filter change and maybe pollen filter too.
  17. Agree that does seem like a siezed caliper.
  18. The rears on the MK2 do have to be turned and pushed in otherwise you will do damage to the piston.
