Hey all, I recently picked up a 2020 Karoq Style TSI 1.5P. All going well but I've noticed some strange behavior with the volume of radio stations (FM in NZ if that matters). When a station is selected, music plays and everything is clear - albeit a little quiet, and i can turn the volume up and it gets louder as expected. But if i manually "detune" the frequency by .1 and then put it back to were it was, then after half a second or so the volume doubles as if the initial tune-in was slightly off. This occurs with each station I've got saved and occurs each time i change station selection with the touchscreen (example attached). I've tried re-tuning them, disabling auto-frequency adjustment, and disabling RDS with no luck. Has anyone else experienced this? 20260108_081250.mp4 Update: In case someone comes across this in the future - the "fix" for me was a software update, nearly all stations now are at an appropriate volume. One station still starts quiet 50% of the time if I'm changing from other stations but its the right volume if the car is started with it selected. I was running SW version MST_EU_SK_ZR_P0475T and updated to MST_EU_SK_ZR_P0480T ("latest" for this SW train) following the info on the software update thread on this forum. Update 2: Over the last week and a half this issue seemed to gradually get worse and is now essentially back to the pre sw update state.
