Hi everyone, Happy to join the forum! I have a 2025 Octavia, and unfortunately my model didn’t come with factory ambient lighting. I purchased an aftermarket ambient light kit and started the installation. After removing the door panel, I looked for a switched 12V accessory power source to connect the ambient light control module. However, I haven’t been able to find any connector that provides an accessory (ignition-switched) 12V supply everything I’ve measured appears to be constant 12V. Has anyone had experience locating a suitable switched 12V source in the door, or nearby, on this model? I’d prefer to avoid tapping into the main Molex connector and routing a cable all the way to the dashboard if possible. Any advice or experience would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
