  1. Thanks, Colin, CFB Yes, that clarifies things nicely. I will need the adaptive cruise pack. I dislike cruise control, but assume from CFB's response that I don't have to set cruise - just need the Adaptive Cruise switched on. Current car has limiter that responds only to satnav data - and yes, can be a pain when passing 20mph side road restrictions when the car slows to 20mph in a 30mph restricted zone because satnav accuracy is (understandably) not that of a cruise missile! I therefore tend to use Google Maps via Apple Car Play, as their satnav data is often a lot more recent than the original satnav data in the car (three years old now). Thanks Richard
  2. About to order a Škoda Kodiaq 1.5 SE L Plug-in Hybrid but unsure about standard limiter. My current car has a limiter that reads the map data either from the inbuilt satnav or from apple play using my iPhone (Google Maps) and if it determines by reading the sat nave data that I am entering a speed restriction it will automatically slow the speed of the car to that of the speed restriction I am entering even if I maintain the same throttle setting on the accelerator. So, for example, if I enter a 30mph zone and have the limiter switched on, the car will automatically slow to 30mph. I understand that the Škoda Kodiaq 1.5 SE L Plug-in Hybrid has a limiter fitted as standard, but I am unsure whether it will read the speed restriction data from the satnav / google maps and AUTOMATICALLY slow the car. One dealer has told me that I need the Adaptive Cruise Control package if I need the limiter to AUTOMATICALLY reduce speed to the restriction limit, but Skoda's video on Adaptive Cruise Control simply shows an automatic reduction of speed when following a slower (or stopped) car in front - which is not what I am asking. Another dealer has told me that I don't need the Adaptive Cruise Control package, as the Limiter will adjust the speed of the car to the satnav data. CONFUSING!!! So.... does the standard limiter on a Škoda Kodiaq 1.5 SE L Plug-in Hybrid AUTOMATICALLY slow the car to the restriction speed, or will it simply show an alert without changing the car's speed? Can someone with a limiter but not the Adaptive Cruise Control resolve the question please? Thank you in advance for a clear, unambiguous answer!!!
