  1. honestly not too sure if it was before the service or not, I barely drive the car anymore. my misses drives it alot more than I do and she still never noticed it after the service. will ask them to have a look at the those other suggestions though, thanks
  2. yeah coils and plugs were changed. last time they done the spark plugs I didn't have any issues at all. car feels significantly more responsive and no misfires at all anymore. Bosch Iridium Spark Plug 0242240665 [FR6HI332] was those ones that were fitted. I've had a look myself and can't hear any hissing or anything from the engine, so maybe it's just a tiny slit in one of the pipes or something.
  3. Been back out at the car, dash issue only appears when it's above 2,000rpm
  4. Just had the car serviced and got all coilpacks replaced as well. Now getting the intake air system leak error and also a strange one where if I'm full lock and let go of the steering wheel, all the dash lights and dials switch off and instantly come back on again. I've attached a video of the dash issue. anyone got any ideas what could be causing the second one? I'm pretty sure they just missed a hose or something for the air intake error, as it took almost 3 days of driving for it to appear. Dashlights.mp4
  5. I can't even get it to connect to the car in the first place, it just spins endlessly and tells me that it can't load my settings.
  6. sounds like complaining enough actually gets you somewhere, they replaced the ****ty Falken tyre they put on it originally to match the new Bridgestone. tracking and the pulling to the left has also been sorted today. software update they are still adamant there is nothing they can do in the dealership and it has to be done OTA from Skoda. My car doesn't have the OTA capability according to this website Availability List It's Ingram Skoda in Ayr. Sales seem to be a complete joke in all honesty, but now that it's been in the hands of the service department it seems to be actually going somewhere (except the updates)
  7. Hi all Just bought a 21 plate VRS iV last week that was sold as an approved used Skoda. During the prep for the sale they discovered that the car needed a new tyre and fitted one to it prior to collection. Now after I collected the car on Saturday, I very quickly discovered there were a few issues with the car that I couldn't raise until Monday morning. The list of issues I had with the car after driving off the lot on Saturday 17th 1. All tyres were massively under inflated, most notably the OSF which was set to 11psi and the brand new one NSR was 25. 2. Tracking was miles off, and car massively pulled to the right 3. Window wipers were beyond useless, massive streaks across the window with slight rain never mind heavy rain. 4. Constant pop ups about an update that's required, car wouldn't let me do it as using a mobile hotspot or even my home router doesn't actually send any data to the car. I get the red globe icon in the infotainment Was booked in today to get the above issues resolved and it's came out now with the car pulling to the left quite a bit under acceleration, but the steering wheel sits centre now YAY!..... I was also informed that it needed a new NSF tyre and this would be supplied and fitted. However, I have now discovered they have fit to completely different branded tyres on the front and the back 2 are the same. So all in 3 different brand tyres and tread patterns. They told me the updates that the car was looking for was installed, which quite clearly it wasn't as it's still asking me to do it, and the software version for the infotainment is 1891(potentially, I honestly can't remember the numbers) Am I being unreasonable to think that is just ridiculous and that they should have atleast matched the branded tyre they fitted less than 72 hours prior? and that the software update was actually performed? They have told me this should be an OTA thing, but the Users won't actually let me login, it just endlessly spins.
