Thanks for all the info, going to visit local skoda dealer tomorrow with log book and ID,they should be able to give me any prior skoda service history .Car computer says is due a service in the near future so obviously been serviced by a garage at some point.

Hi Any sugestions on where to find above info. No sticker in boot, where spare wheel goes. nothing on fuel filler flap, no sticker under the bonnet. Unable to get the VIN number to register online ,which does match the log book .This might be something to do with the car being cat N. Also trying to find out if there is any previous service history with skoda dealer as I believe that info is also online. thanks
