  1. I think you are right, I can do it myself theoretically but dont want to mess things up. I will travel to Poland in July, already spoke with guy who does stuff like this and he said it will cost me around £200 for it
  2. Hey, i was just thinking is it possible to unlock line assistant and road sign reading options using just a simple obd tool from amazon or any ordinary one? Or is it just specialised ones can do it? I know there is a service down in England ( only 1 I found so far) who does this sort of service. And this leads to important question, if I could do it myself, what are the odds i could completely mess things up? Or it is very easy and trouble free. Thanks
  3. Darnok_SCO started following Mirror dip and Obd
  4. Will try it tomorrow, interesting it only says about passenger side, not driver, but gotta try it
  5. Great, just need to find out how to do this
  6. Passenger mirror in my case is left hand one. I need driver ( right) side to work Any idea why it wouldn't be possible with VAG vehs? I did have kia before and once on reverse both mirrors dipped simultaneously. I know with skoda I have to turn knob to the left to activate it, which is pretty annoying
  7. https://www.mycarly.com/scanner/ something like this? Plus phone app i think
  8. Do you have any link to full instructions, cos i dont really get it how would I do it?
  9. Yeah, this one doesn't have rear view camera, so that means if I reverse to the right and want to see kerb, I have to dip the mirror manually?
  10. Wow, I thought both would, even if I would have to move knob left or right, cos you know sometimes you reverse to the left and sometimes to the right. Very weird
  11. Hey, it is probably easy to fix, but I noticed when car is in reverse, left mirror dip ( passenger side) but driver side not. I checked all options, did that thing with ignition, set mirrors, reverse etc but didn't help. Got someone from Cinch ( thise who sold me my car) they turned to say that with skodas, thats the way it is that passenger side dips, but driver side not. I find it hard to believe. So how it really is, should both dip down when reversing or not?
  12. Tbh, I hope they will change it, as that was the way car came to me. I notified them right away, so that is fault on their side. I do know for a future now, that having car delivered is not always good option
  13. Kind of, I got Cinch servicemen came and checked reverse camera and wing mirrors control unit, he confirmed that above are faulty and now I wait for them to come back. Thanks fornasking
  14. Also should it be any setting in car "settings" menu?
  15. There is a camera, just above plates. I already messaged them. I got car delivered from derby and I do live in Scotland
