  1. the one I had was on its 3rd engine from new and was ultimately the reason I got shut after only 9 months. Bickertons who I bought it off were very reasonable through out
  2. bear in mind you might not recover everything
  3. having topped it up on the 12th its now at the top of the hatched bit (when cold)
  4. dipped 2wks ago when still hot and was above the hatched part
  5. strange thing is it was full 2wks ago and done 300miles in that time
  6. well its on its 2nd engine, I've now done 1800 miles (put 1/2 ltr since getting it back) and today the oil light has come on. Have to say I'm getting quite fed up with this car now and seriously thinking about never buying a VAG group car again.
  7. dont know about purchasing from lookers but never take a car back for any work, they make a right pigs ear of it. Hows 8 attempts to fix a steering rack and had the car 2 months
  8. I appreciate these can happen to cars at any mileage, but to have all these things in one car at a low mileage cant be right. All I need is the gearbox and its full house
  9. is anyone experiencing premature wheel bearing failure, because it would appear kermit the lemon is and getting worse with each day. So the list is oil useage, intermittent window fault, more rattles than a babies toy and now this. Would I buy another Skoda as it stands at the moment I would say no, for a 2yr old car with 17000 miles thats terrible
  10. new engine, filled to where should've been - admittedly I dont give it much welly but the distance I drive to work its only just got to temp. I know new engines can use oil, but I will be keeping a close watch
  11. in my case 800 miles later after new engine and the oil is a third of the way down the hatched part. Its not looking good, however it is a lot better than before
  12. Bickertons supposedly adjusted the doors to stop it and tried all the obvious things in the boot (hooks, wheel kit restraint, pockets in boot) Im beginning to wonder if its something behind the trim
  13. I have to say the fabia is a bit of a 'pig' for rattles. On mine each doors rattles, theres a rattle in the boot and 2 rattles from the dash which for a 2 year old car is poor. My 11yr old subaru only 1 rattle from the dash
  14. definately people on their mobiles while driving and people parking next to you in a nearly empty car park
  15. kids have called ours Kermit
  16. I know of the BT design parts but is there any others? I do like the BT splitter but it is a bit expensive £442 on their site before postage, is there a replica?
  17. I know its not good but it does to appear to be only surface rust
  18. I am going to, just wondered if anyone here knew
  19. the pictures the car has sidekirt extensions are these one offs or can you buy them anywhere? (bleeding thing wont let me edit, comes up with a text error)

  21. finding out the history would make all the difference, I would buy one if I knew it didnt burn oil (have learnt that from the one I have now). I wouldnt look for a low mileage one thats for sure, one thats got average mileage for the year would suggest its less likely to be a oil burner
  22. Carbrook used to be a bit funny about kids if anyones thinking of taking them, although that was a couple of years ago
  23. I asked on facebook if this is the version for Xbox 360 or PS3 to be told that it was the PC version but there wasnt an announcement for PC. But it does look too good for Xbox/PS3 more like PS4/Xbox one
  24. I've had Imprezas, great cars but after the statement made by Subaru uk about no more WRX or STi. I'm not sure we'll get a performance one. But that does look great
