As in 'fake' carbon fiber or a nice dark 'carbon' black? IMHO anything with a large area covered in look-a-like carbon fiber sheets looks awful. A black roof (and perhaps bonnet); in the right circumstances, can look pretty good though.

It'll be worth checking whether your new seats are 'bottom' or 'side mounted'. If you get 'side mounted' seats, the runners from the Audi won't work, you'll need to get side mount brackets. Also, what sort of seats are you looking at? Are you talking about reclining 'bucket' seats or fixed back seats?

Blimey, that's quite a list. From a safety perspective I'd definatley get the four tyres replaced before you look at anything else - from £160ish for cheapo budget tyres. There is bound to be a local Briskodian with either VAGcom or a fault reader to have a look at fault code for you, I expect they'd do it in return for a cup of tea - FREE. The wiper blade is a simple fix, just take it off, turn it round and put it back on - FREE. The seat belt, depends how frayed it is. If it's only got an advisory and not an outright fail I'd expect it to be minor.

Wow, that sounds almost like insurance fraud. You might want to be careful what you post on a public forum and rephrase the last sentence. If you do go ahead with the mod, it'll be the best bang-for-buck change you'll ever make and there is no reason why (with a light foot) the extra power shouldn't get you a few more miles from a tank.. but don't expect miracles!

I assume that the 5,000 have been on the road and not on a track? Do you tend to carry lots of heavy items in the boot / rear? I can't say that I have really noticed any difference in the wear of my front and rear tyres but saying that they don't seem to last any thing like they do on my other car.. maybe its the way I drive it..

One of mine has lived outside, all year round, since birth. Never done her any harm. We use a plastic sheet (folded for double thickness) and just cover the hutch and door at night, making sure there is a plastic chair or something stopping it from blowing in the wind. Rabbits :easter: tend to have winter and summer coats anyway and afterall.. they have evolved living outside in the wild..

Typical.. I've been told that the earliest I can complete (and I've been waiting a loooooooong for this..) on my house purchase is a week on Friday... yep.. Friday 13th :thumbdwn: There was much merryment between me and my Sol' because its taken such a long time that she wasn't even sure she should mention it.. and just say that Monday 16th was the earliest date. She mentioned that "some people don't like doing this.." and I'm in two minds.. if I complete on the Friday, I get two 'free' days (that I don't have to take off work) to decorate .. but will I be dooming myself to bad luck :( ..? So.. superstition.. or sense.. which would YOU choose?
