Makes sense with the dpf mate thankyou I’ll deffinatly look into getting a dpf. And my oil consumption is okay had the car 8 months and low oil light has popped up 3 times changed oil and filter after each time it came on and it hasn’t been about 3 months since it last came on.

My 2017 Octavia VRs estate diesel is having some issues. It’s going into limp mode often. I have changed glow plugs as the glow plug light came on but then to find out it comes on to out the car in limp mode. I keep getting p0299 code. Don a smoke test found a leak and replaced the pipe. Erased the code. Limp mode 20 mins down the road. Changed boost pressure sensor and n75 valve. Still the same problem. Done a regen. 0.2grams of soot. The dpf is actually very clean. It does idle at 1k rpm even when warm. Also changed the dpf sensors. Still the same. Boost absolutely fine with no smoke or whines etc so anbsolutly confident my turbo isn’t failing. anyone had this issue before and know what it is?
