Hi, I have trouble finding correct sway bar bushings for my Octavia 1.8t AGU '99. Sway bar is 23mm thick, and all I could find are 21mm bushings. Can these 21mm bushings be mounted on my sway bar, or should i keep searching for 23mm ones. Old ones have number 1J0 411 314 G on them, and when I ask for them in store, they give me 21mm and say that those fit on 23mm sway bar. Sorry for my bad english

I guess, there is some way to open driver's door on Octavia mk1 '99, if door handles dont work (which is my case)! Any suggestions?

Hi all! I have a problem with my Octy 1.8T 20v 150hp. Whenever i press the brakes on a slippery road, brakepedal blocks and i can't press it anymore while the car is shaking and right wheel blocks! Last winter, abs light has turned on while this happened, but after minutes of driving it turned off by itself. Did anyone had similar problem? Sorry for my bad english!

Looks good, even with old lights. Can you find out what fixes did he had to do to place new bumper, and what about the new lights?

I would like to change my 1999 Octavia front look, to be like 2001 model. Can it be done? I think that only front bumper and headlights needs to be replaced. Is there any way to do this?

I have couple of problems with my octavia 1.8t 20v '99. FIRST: After 130 km/h my steering wheel starts to shake (only when i press gas paddle) when i release it, it calms down. SECOND: I hear strange short noise, when i start driving (at about 20-25km/h). It only happens when i previously shift into revers then in first gear. Does somobody know what could couse these problems?

Can somebody tell me how to remove the switch pack for the windows, are there any screws? Pictures if possible! Thanks!
