  1. Hello from not so sunny Carlisle.
  2. Hello Fab Friends, my wife's 14 plate Monte Carlo went into the garage with a dpf and flashing coil indicator, I thought this would involve a forced regen to clear it out. unfortunately they said there's play on the turbo and it's dripping oil onto the dpf causing the block. it only got 50k on the clock so I am considering while it's apart , and I'm having to fork out for a new turbo, I be as well look into going big(ish!) i am possibly ( there are a lot of possibilities in play here!) looking at getting a turbo from xman in Motherwell, getting it fitted here in Carlisle, timing belts / pump done ,wet belt as the oil is probably diluted with diesel, and remapped . I'm sure there will be folks on here who have tackled this before, and may be able to suggest any unforeseen pitfalls that may cause me problems . I'm thinking the clutch may well need upgrading too, any suggestions? also if any one has tackles this sort of project would they have a rough estimate of budget? thanks in advance Rocket
