As suspected - software update gone wrong. Needs to be left at the dealership for two days to get sorted, which isn’t ideal (family holiday coming up in less than 48h). They’ve told me not to touch the fuse box otherwise it’ll invalidate the warranty, which just seems ridiculous 😅

Welcome! Thankfully the stigma from that era is all but gone. I’ve only had my wife and mother-in-law (both non-drivers) raise an eyebrow when I first got a Skoda, as they had heard all the jokes but obviously no idea (or interest) in the history post VW acquisition. That’s a fantastic motor you’ve got there, enjoy!

Seems like more than just coincidental timing. I’m now starting to wonder if I’ve maybe missed an OTA update that’s gone wrong? This car ticks all my current boxes (wouldn’t mind a bit more power under the right foot at times!) but I’m slightly disappointed that the software issues I’ve read about elsewhere haven’t been sorted…

Makes complete sense, but mine hasn’t had a wash for ages... it could still be something related though. I’ll keep looking and post back here once it’s been diagnosed 🙂

Apologies if this is a previously-answered question - I searched the forum last night and came up with nothing. My mk4 SE L Superb started giving me this error yesterday and refusing to display the camera, instead only showing the radar overview. It’s persistent, rather than intermittent. As far as I can tell there is no physical damage to the camera or the wiring, and everything else on the same fuse seems to be working (radar and virtual pedal definitely work) I’m at a bit of a loss - software current, but not recently updated. Any ideas? I have it booked in at a local dealer for diagnostics under warranty on Wednesday, so I’ll update here either way, but any insights from the community would be helpful. Cheers

Hello from Scotland. I’ve lost count of the number of times a Google search for useful Skoda info has sent me here, so I’m well overdue setting up an account (and donating towards the upkeep of the site!) I’ve had Skodas for the past five years: Karoq SE L (2021 -> 2024) - handed back at end of lease period Karoq Sportline (2024) - written off after it was crashed into while parked Karoq Sportline (2025 -> 2026) - insurance replacement for previous Sportline, traded in Superb mk4 SE L (2026 -> ?) - bought so we could fit the dog and a pram in the car at the same time! Hope to learn from this community as well as contributing! Cheers
