Hi to anyone reading! I have an issue with a lot of rainwater finding its way into my 2007 Roomster. Mostly it appears to end up in the front passenger footwell. The windows inside mist up and mould was found growing all over seatbelts etc. This was after the car had been left unused for a month. I checked the plenum chamber and all drainage holes seem clear. I pulled the door panel and it’s bone dry inside. I have discovered where inside the car the water is coming in - see photos - but not how it’s making its way in from the outside. If I pull the black polystyrene cover off beneath the glove compartment (the one that covers the interior filter), stick my head into the footwell, twist around and look up, it’s very wet up alongside the wiring loom and there’s rust patches. I strongly believe water is therefore coming in here but I just don’t know how! Anyone experience this before?
