I’m not sure if it’s been modified or not. There’s a possibility that the previous owner tried to update it with European firmware, whereas mine is the US version as you said. So I need to update it with a firmware newer than 5807, and it has to be the American version, right?

When I inserted the CD (FW5238_modified), this error message appeared: downgrade error Target loaded with media version – 5807201 Inserted media version – 5807201 SWL cannot proceed because the target is loaded with a newer CD than the one inserted. So you'r reason it's 5807 not 5708

Hi @pab567 I’m having the same issue with the loop, but I’ve got the EU version. The current firmware is 5708. I tried installing 5238, but it wouldn’t accept it as it’s a downgrade. I’m now planning to try firmware 6270. Thanks for your support!
