  1. Will check into. Thanks again for your thoughts.Regards
  2. It does on both fuels. Trying to get someone with VCDS who knows what are they doing to do deep scan and see if everything checks out. In the meantime will try to address water intrusion issue. Will update post once I get some headway on the problem. Thanks again
  3. I will try to clean ECU connector. Will look for shop that has VCDS and look closer for leaks. Thank you for your help
  4. Not sure what scanner they used. It was showing camshaft position sensor intermittently but two new sensors were put in. Coolant has been changed year ago. Whole llnew lpg installation was done at the same time. My suspicion about ECU is due to floor being wet on front passenger side. I think I have leak somewhere. Read somewhere that due to its location Octavia mk1 ECU is prone to dumpness.
  5. Carpet is wet. Must be leak somewhere so water from outside comes in. No it doesn't have distributor cap. Oil levels are fine. Mo loss of oil.
  6. Thank you for your reply. Car was scanned and no obvious codes are present. Also if heater core was compromised wouldn't coolant leak inside? Coolant levels are fine and there is no coolant smell in the car. My suspicion on ECU being wet is based on fact that car is misbehaving more often during rainy days. Location of ECU is truly poorly engineered solution. Not sure if wrapping ECU in some weatherproof material is permitted.
  7. Hello all Skoda fans. I have 2007 Skoda Octavia caravan. Mk1. 1.6 liter gas/lpg AEH engine. 74kw. 101 HP. Issue I have that car runs fine most of the time and then engine enters limp mode. Runs rough, looses power, sputtering on startup, etc.. Then runs fine. Went to multiple mechanics and electricians coul not find the issue. Also carpet is wet on front passenger side .Could it be that ECU gets wet due to its location and gets confused? Did anyone experienced similar issue and could share any solutions that they tried? Thank you in advance
