Hi guys, hoping someone could help with this. Bought a Kenwood DMX6523DABS (6.8 inch screen) for Carplay recently, and the correct cable harness to go with it will be arriving on Thursday, however I cannot find a fascia plate or dashboard fitting online that would fit this screen install. The screen came with a plastic bezel that covers the metal cage that locks it into place, but it still leaves the big gaps in the dashboard. I've attached photos of the original infotainment screen and the new Kenwood install for comparison. If someone could point me to a fascia or similar dashboard plate that would fit this screen install (or could be modified to fit) that would be great, thanks! Hi guys, I got a Skoda fabia III SE recently (2015 build registered in march 2016), and I have some questions about updating the software of my screen to include smartlink. It currently only has mirrorlink (which is abandoned and no longer works) and my iPhone 15 does not get detected by the usb at all. (I have tried multiple carplay certified cables) Its currently on software version MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0138T, which from my understanding is MIB2 and able to update through SD Card slot in the glovebox. Does it have to be a specific one? Will a regular Kodak 32gb SD card work fine? I have found that the recent update is MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0480T at mib-helper.com/index.php?train=MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0138T#details and i have download it from mibsolution.one Will i be able to update straight to P0480T without issues? I know I may need to upgrade my usb socket too as it currently only charges my iPhone and doesnt detect it for smartlink/carplay to function. Although I'm not sure where to find the exact model of the usb socket replacement because it looks to be that the whole plate is one. I have included a picture of it. I am really hoping i can get carplay to function as it is a lot nicer to have than the bluetooth display, and the Garmin satnav that was fitted by the previous owner is quite outdated/inaccurate. If any more information is needed let me know!
