  1. Hello everybody. I would like to ask the owners for your feedback on the various seat options available on the new Mk4 Superb. We are currently in the process of replacing our beloved Mk3 TDI with a Mk4 PHEV. The Mk3 is very low-mileage and in mint condition, partially due to my OCD when it comes to maintenance. To be honest, I’m sad to see it go, but it’s a logical financial decision. The Mk4s we are considering have four different seat versions: 1) standard cloth seats, 2) base Sportline seats (without ventilation; perforated Alcantara), 3) optional Sportline seats (with ventilation; perforated leather), 4) L&K full leather with ventilation. I have a few specific questions: Comfort: For the broader drivers here, how do you find the Sportline seats on long journeys, compared to the flatter seats? Durability: What is the real-world wear and tear like? I have seen some complaints regarding the L&K leather's condition after a worryingly short amount of time. Could it be that cloth version is actually more durable? Maintenance: For those with regular cleaning habits, how difficult is it to maintain the ventilated seats? I’m concerned about debris getting into the perforations and the difficulty of conditioning the leather without clogging the holes. Any other thoughts or long-term experiences would be greatly appreciated!
  2. Hello everybody! First time poster here, although I’ve been following this forum for a long time (since before I could even drive :D). I thought it would be a good time to become an active member. Thanks to the community for all the info throughout the years.
