  1. Many thanks.
  2. Thanks for the information. I'm going to get the timing belt changed in any case. It would be extremely unwise not to.
  3. Thank you for contacting Škoda UK regarding your vehicle service interval. I sincerely apologise for the delay in my response. I have referred your service interval and timing belt enquiry to our internal Technical Support Team, who has advised that your Škoda Karoq timing belt does not have an interval as the vehicle is fitted with a life time component. In regards to the service interval of your Škoda Karoq, your vehicle is on a flexible schedule, which means that your Škoda Karoq dashboard will alert you when a service is due. I hope this information proves useful. Should you need further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us on the details below. You may receive a survey about the service that I have provided. I would be grateful if you have the time to complete this, as it will help me to provide the best customer experience possible. 4. Many thanks. I intend to keep the car for as long as possible. Despite Skoda claiming that the timing belt is a lifetime timing belt, this is misleading as inevitably, the rubber will perish. So time to change it.
  5. Does a Skoda Karoq 1.0Tsi 2018 need the timing belt changed? My car has 37000 miles. If so, should I change the water pump ( not sure if the timing belt runs the water pump) and tensioner?
