Thanks for the spelling corrections! On semantics, I always thought gaiter was something more flexible, such as the covering over the gear stick - in this instance I guess 'grip' would be the best descriptor for what I'm after. I saw that video, but unfortunately no sign of any such tab on mine

Hi, The soft handbreak cover on my Monte Carlo Combi is in poor condition, the end has come unstuck. However I can't see a way to remove it (there's no tab on the underside or anything), and I'm not sure where best to obtain a replacement. Is this something someone else has done and has any tips on? @pab567 Thank you very much, this is very helpful! I will try with the correct 0253 update. On the mib-helper website it says the latest possible firmware update is 0480, is it worth updating to that one rather than 0253?

I have done some research - I used mib-helper.com to put in my current software version; MST2_EU_SK_ZRP0245T It says 2. Latest available firmware updates: Latest official firmware update: MST2_EU_SKZRP0245T Does this mean I am on the most current firmware and I cannot update to the 0253 version which you provided @pab567 ?

I downloaded the folder you sent, unzipped it, and put in on a empty formatted SD card. When I put it in the car I get the message; ERROR: VARIANT CONFLICT MEDIUM: DEVICE DOESNT SUPPORT THIS (MAIN UNIT: VARIANT) Do you know what causes this?

Hi, new Fabia owner here. My radio has Smartlink enabled, but my phone (Samsung Galaxy S22+) does not connect at all. There is a thread on this forum which suggests that updating the software to the 1800 version, but I'm not sure how to complete the update. Is there somewhere to download the software, and do I put it on an SD card and put it in the slot in the glovebox? Details are; Device part number: 5Q0035874A Hardware: H25 Software: 0245 Thanks
