  1. I checked the location I mentioned, and indeed, there's an alarm or immobilizer box that's also connected to the central locking system. I have two central locking remotes that I thought were genuine Skoda parts, but that doesn't seem to be the case... There are three fuses with the box: two red and one yellow. Do you think I could try disconnecting them one at a time to see if that makes a difference? Is there a risk of disabling the immobilizer? Thanks again!
  2. Hi. Thanks for all your feedback and opinions. This solidarity is really great, I appreciate it. I don't think there's an alarm (at least nothing that sounds). Maybe there's a kill switch somewhere to prevent starting? I do think there's a red LED hidden behind a plastic cover under the steering wheel on the left. Do you think it's easy to remove? Thanks again for your helpful advice.
  3. Hello again, I just tested it again. The hazard lights flash 34 times as soon as the ignition is switched on (engine not running) and continue the cycle even if I switch the ignition off and remove the key. When the vehicle is off, the hazard lights work normally. The fuse is okay, and all the bulbs are fine. Thank you for your feedback and ideas.
  4. Hello, thank you for your reply. Yes, I'll use a translator. That will be better! The vehicle is practically a one-owner car, as it belonged to my grandfather who bought it new. It just had a service and the alternator is new. No other faults to report (144,000 km). But as soon as the engine starts (so even when stopped), the hazard lights come on and follow the same pattern every time: they flash 34 times, stop, and then flash another 34 times, and so on continuously. This leads me to believe it's some kind of error code... I'm open to any ideas or if anyone has encountered a similar problem. Thank you in advance.
