  1. Thanks for that information. Very useful.
  2. We bought a 2024 Skoda Karoq 1.5 SE L back in May this year. Pretty much ever since we've had it, the front wiper will periodically (randomly) wipe the windscreen when there's blue skies and no rain. Sometimes it will wipe once, sometimes three or even four times. It has been doing this seemingly more frequently in the last couple of weeks when we were away on holiday. Driving back from north Wales yesterday. it happened on seven or eight occassions. I've checked the position of the wiper lever several times just to make sure it hadn't accidentally been nudged into the wrong position, but all ok in that respect. I did a quick google the other day and came across one or two posts that mention the same issue. Please can anyone throw light on whata might be causing this? The car is still under warranty, but I'm guessing that if I take the car back to the dealership for inspection, they might say they can't re-create the issue (because it's random and infrequent) and send me away! Thanks.
  3. Thanks very much! That explains things perfectly πŸ™πŸ»πŸ‘
  4. Thanks for letting me know πŸ‘
  5. Thanks very much for checking. Cheers..
  6. Ah thank you. Is there any way of me finding out if I have the Advanced system or not (other than the fact it doesn’t appear to work)? Thanks πŸ‘
  7. This definitely doesn’t work from my car. I left it unlocked walked into the house and left the keys in the sitting room, then went out after a minute or so and it was still unlocked. I read somewhere on Google that this feature will only apply if it has a particular interface installed. I’ve no idea if I have that interface πŸ˜…. So as things stand it seems it’s either a fault or I don’t have that particular feature.
  8. I recently bought a Skoda 1.5 se l 2024 Reg. I was under the impression that it automatically locks after so many seconds after you have left the car (without having to physically lock it using the key fob). Mine doesn’t seem to do that. So is that feature only available on certain models? Thanks in advance.
  9. The touch up was done by the Skoda dealership at their location.
  10. with? Hopefully some person was not careless with their orbital polisher and had it laid down near the wipers when working. Or when not working. A Warranty T&C,s is clear enough if you read it. Fundamental, design, manufacturing or material faults. Well it is not that as the car was built over 2 years ago. Didn’t look like much polishing was done to be honest! But anyway, the touchups weren’t really anywhere near it the base of the windscreen. My wife remembers that they said the car would have to be thoroughly dried before they do the touchups. I’m not sure how they dried the car, but if it was in a paint booth, could the temperature have caused the hairline crack?
  11. The car is registered in autumn 2024 and still in warranty. As a nearly new car, Skoda automatically apply a minimum of one years warranty upon purchase. The paint scratches were on front wing, side door and rear bumper. It was just a touch up job, no sanding involved.
  12. @Warrior193 and @cnc Yes the crack starts as a hairline crack at the base and is approx 13cm. The crack then widens and goes up another 11cm. There's no evidence of any impact site. The crack is smooth to touch on the inside and outside of the windscreen. I've attached a higher quality photo. No reply from Skoda as yet. The car is still in warranty, but windscreens is not even mentioned in that.
  13. Last week we bought a nearly-new (2024) Karoq 1.5 SE L. Yesterday we took it back to the dealer to do some minor paint scratches which they had agreed to do. Drove home and then this morning, I get into the car on my drive and notice a thin crack on the heated windscreen that starts at the very base as a hairline crack and progresses up the windscreen by several inches. There is no evidence that the windscreen has been hit by anything e.g. a small stone. It's as though the windscreen has been put under stress somehow i.e. a stress crack if there is such a thing. I've informed the dealership and sent photos and the sales consultant who we dealt with is going to speak to the manager and get back to me 'to see if they can help'. Photos attached. Has anyone had anything like this happen? If so, was it covered under the warranty?

I can't figure out how to delete my post, but I've just found the answer . . . . . basically I moved the seat to my preferred driving position and then pressed SET then pressed and held down 1 until I heard the beep. All sorted. Thanks.

Having just bought a used 2024 Karoq 1.5 SE L I'm still going through learning all of the controls and set ups. I have a couple of questions regarding seat memory because my owners manual tells me one thing and videos I've watched tell me a slightly different method . . . . . Having got the positions correct for my driving, do you press SET followed by the memory number (within 10 seconds) or do you press SET and the number and hold down together? I know I'm supposed to hear a beep when it's set but haven't as yet. Presumably, the steering wheel position does not bcome part of the SET memory, but the wing mirrors do? Thanks
