Ordered a VRS TSI hatch yesterday via a broker, estimated to be end of September for delivery.

Where did you read about the £4k?

Would they also fit the door puddle lights?

This has just occurred to my girlfriend's Fabia. The window was stuck in the down position and wouldn't come up even when pulling it. I took as much as I could out of the door but because the regulator was in the down position the vertical struts are sitting below the level of the panel. No matter which way I tried I couldn't get the damn thing out of the door. I did manage to undo one of the bolts that holds the window in place so we could get the glass up. Now I've got to do the repair and could do with some advice. How much is a new regulator? How can I get the old one out? Any links showing pics? Cheers

I checked the fault codes and it came up with this :- Address 08 ------------------------------------------------------- Controller: 6Y0 820 045 Component: Klimaanlage X0830 6 Faults Found: 01271 - Positioning Motor for Temperature Flap (V68) 30-10 - Open or Short to B+ - Intermittent 01596 - Motor for Outside/Recirculated Air Flap (V154) 30-10 - Open or Short to B+ - Intermittent 01271 - Positioning Motor for Temperature Flap (V68) 29-10 - Short to Ground - Intermittent 01271 - Positioning Motor for Temperature Flap (V68) 28-10 - Short to B+ - Intermittent 01596 - Motor for Outside/Recirculated Air Flap (V154) 41-10 - Blocked or No Voltage - Intermittent 01596 - Motor for Outside/Recirculated Air Flap (V154) 29-10 - Short to Ground - Intermittent I then ran through the guide on Fabia vrs.com and the numbers wouldn't settle to 0. I don't know if I'm doing it right or if there's an actual problem. Can anyone help?

I've had one fitted to my Golf 150PD. It's a Wizards of Nos kit with a minimax controller. Power went from 188bhp to 231bhp and torque from 290lb/ft to 346lb/ft. Great fun just expensive to keep filling unless you can do it yourself.
