  1. Yeah the dealer obviously decided that having an odd front tyre would "probably be alright, if he says sumfing we've got others wanting to buy it". Been saving some dough to get 4 new shoes anyway, I'll just have to move up the old timetable after today's shenanigans. Was also considering ps4's And these Goodyear Eagle F1 "designed for VW etc". Had Eagle F1 on my focus st2 wagon about 10 years ago and they were pretty nice too. So much choice!
  2. Thanks a lot for that, I figured (and certainly hoped) cheapo tyres admittedly a bit over inflated 😳 was probably the issue. Any recommendations from yourself or anyone else on what works well with the Superb? I've used Yokohama blu earth gt 235/40/19 on my AWD but tuned up Mundano for the last 5 or 6 years and have found them to be great all rounders
  3. 235/40/19s. Something called Arduzza Epoch Sport ES, except the driver's side front which is a continental premium contact 6.
  4. TL:DR - hi! superb 280: wet skiddy without quality back tyres? Hello everybody, New to the forum and owning a skoda. I've got a 2019 superb sportline 280 hatch. Are they known to get a bit unsettled at the back end in the wet? With the job I do I've driven both manual and dsg Haldex skodas (octavias and kodiaq), quite hard, and never experienced this. Granted the work cars are all diesel with Michelin crossclimates. I've had the car 2-3 months now and there's a bit of stuff in the boot. KN filter but other than that it's stock as far as I know. It's got the same tyres on that I bought it with, plenty of tread, but I think they're budget ones probably put on by the dealer. The weird thing was that I wasn't even pushing it, just coming out of a roundabout up a left incline. Does this sound familiar to anyone, is it just decent tyres needed or is there something re suspension I ought to look out for? Tia
