What it says on the tin, really; recently my oil warning light came on, flashed a few times, made a really loud intermittent beeping sound, and then turned off again. This happened several times during a journey, but actually stopped after a little while. I checked the oil level, and its fine, so I reckon it's an issue with the oil pressure sensor/switch (I did get an OBD tool, but that came up as no error codes, so I'm really in the dark here). I have a new filter (while I'm down there, I may as well change that too) and a new switch... but I can't find them anywhere in my engine! I've watched what feels like every youtube video there is, and the strange thing is, none of the videos I see show engines that look like mine. In all the youtube videos, the filters and switches are relatively easily accessible from under the bonnet, but there's absolutely nothing similar under my bonnet. Does anyone here have/had a Fabia 1.6 TDI, and be willing to show me on photos where these things are? Or what I'm looking for? I was looking for over 4 hours earlier, the batteries on my light have run out! TIA

Hi folks! I was directed to this forum by a friend who has also been here for a while, it came highly recommended and I'm delighted to see the old forums do still exist on the internet. I've owned my 2013 Fabia since 2021, and I've decided that it really is about time I started learning how to do some of the basic upkeep myself - so expect to see a lot of me here as I encounter things that will almost certainly be incredibly easy for most of you!
