Good Morning Sir, apologies for reaching out but Google Gemini recommended i contact you in regards to an issue i am having with my Skoda Superb 65 plate. Yesterday being very very hot (showing as 33c in the car) i used the car in the morning and all was fine, and then when i went to use it in the afternoon i turned the ignition on and found that when i clicked "SmartLink" i am now greeted with the message "You can activate the function by means of an activation key. please contact your dealer" which is very frustrating as i have owned and used the system for the last 6.5 years. I have performed a hard reset on the infotainment system, unpaired my phone ( from my phone itself, as bluetooth has disappeared from my car), also disconnected the black battery cable and left it for 15 minutes, tried the following day when the car was much cooler and still no smartlink. When i checked my Installed SW Train Version it shows as "MH12_ER_SKG11_P2104" and Google says this is very old firmware and could be the cause and advised to reach out to yourself. Are you able to help at all please as my Skoda is my World, it's the best car i have ever owned and im even holding off of buying a new superb as they are not as economical as my 2.0 automatic and the tax is cheaper on mine.
