So it’s turns out there’s 2 types of this bypass switch and I had the wrong one!! Big price difference but I’ve ordered the correct one and hopefully that will fix things. Does that switch throw up these codes do you know, I’m worried it might be something else, thanks so far you’ve been brilliant 😊

U010100 lost communication with tcm P085000 park/neutral switch I’m not sure whether the battery was coded, but it’s been fine all this time, is a simple battery change the answer?

My battery I bought new in January so can’t be that surly, we’ve checked it and it’s got the correct voltage, we’ve just bought a bypass switch for the gear selector as it keeps saying put in park when it already is, maybe while driving that loses connection???? I’m unsure

Hi, I’m hoping someone can help me, I own a Skoda superb 2016 dsg, I’ve been driving along and suddenly car goes into limp mode and my car won’t drive, it comes up with a number of faults, tyre pressure, parking break fault, traction control etc, I turn it off wait a few minutes and turn key again, then it drives for a few miles and does the same again, the code reader tells me it’s lost control with tcm, I’ve changed wheel bearings and abs sensors and still nothing, now my car won’t start as it’s telling me to put the car in p/n which it is, I’m at a loss, please help
