    What age/model is your car though? Your profile says an Octavia III Scout 2015 which is prior to SFD being introduced. The car u need to reser is a 2014 Octavia mk IV so im not sure if VCDS would work or not.

    Has anyone had any joy resetting this? I too have an airbag error after temporarlly dosconnecting and reattaching rhe passenger airbag on/off switch. I have an Ancel VD700 code reader... but it doesnt seem to communicate to display the error code or reset the airbag error allarm. I'm guessing, as its a 2024 Octavia, that the alarm is locked due to SFD2 ? If thats the case, is the only way to reset it to ask the local dealer down here in Cornwall and pay up?
