Hej all, i came across this forum which helped me a lot on my last infotainment issue on my Octavia - which is solved now. Unfortunately the next issue now just raised and i wanted to get some possible feedback. Out of nowhere the car started intermittently showing a lot of failure messages such as (Front Assist, Parking Sensor, Travel Assist, Cruise Control) and such. I thought it is going to be a glitch but the next days they reappeared - must of the time Travel Assist and Cruise Control stays inoperative. From time to time they are going again and everything is functional but my last drive for 3 hours they came after 30min and stayed eventually- Also resulting in more failures coming up during the drive such as Auto Hold, Parking Assistant, Pro-Active Inhabitant Protection and also the message the brake force enhancement having issues. As you can all imagine this is quite annoying and is becoming to a point where it is as well concerning regarding safety. I have tried to gather some information from a technician that used to work on these skodas and he instantly referred to a possibly faulty steering wheel assy - ai also sad the same (but its ai Afterall). Do you have experience with this kind of fault - indications of what i could do to prevent or troubleshoot - indications of a cheap fix - or if this will be covered under part retrofit warranty, car is out of warranty but i heard this is a common issue. If you need any more information from my side - let me know and i will try to answer them... I will try to upload the video i first took for you guys - unfortunately even after compressing tis still 130MB... Additionally if you could comment these issues as well that i have now experienced this for a year (i bought this car about a year ago drove 50.000km with it since), maybe you have a solution for these as well Trunk Lid electrical opening over the key or the button inside the car - it beeps, unlocks but does not open, even if pressing several times User Profile - for a year know i cannot create a user profile on my car - when i try to log-in i just keeps on looking until it says no connection - i was previously in contact with skoda about this trying several places over several months and different passwords or login details - no solution Traffic Sign Recognition - Map Navigation Position - from time to time i drive off and the position off the car is quite of - to the point where it is showing in the ocean or something resulting in wrongly displayed traffic signs or the car changing gear or braking to 50 kmh on the highway since it thinks it is inside of a village USB C Output in the back - from time to time you need to switch the cable to the 2nd socket since it is not charging anymore (i leave the cable usually always plugged in) and then after some time this one gives up and i switch again Already thank you all in advance !! SO sad that this great car has "just" these electronical issues that destroy the whole experience of the car itself. KR David
