  1. Thanks for writing this up @eyeofsauron! Really good post how to properly disassemble the Karoq because I might have to this in the near future. In my case, I had some luck and didn't need to disassemble. I lifted the socket up and found the blue wire broken (photo 1). I really didn't had much space to work with but gave it a try anyway by stripping the ends. I put a couple of cm inbetween (white wire). I had to solder it, because i was unable to twist it real good. I covered with a heat-tube, and shrinked it locally by using a lighter.. Idem dito to the other side. Conclusion Some expectation management. It works for now, and I'm hoping it will last ± 5 weeks to cover the holiday. But eventually, this solution won't last long. Next time I use proper material and tools.
