I get a little bit of condensation on a morning if I trave without the heater blower being on setting number 1. Has anyone else noticed this? Hey if this is the only worry then it just shows the build quality is so air tight. However without the heater blower on my heater is not that hot? Anyone else?

No speaker wires in with rear speaker 6" speakers are what you need easy to take off the door covers they just clip off and can be eased with your fingers. I did the rear myself on the 3 door but had a professional connect to raio because of the PID unit.

Gentleman and ladies rev the nuts off I ask you where is your common sense - both engines have the same torque there is hardly any difference except 75 bhp delivers is power higher up the rev band -go try Scaletrix!

Most of you need to get a life - this car is less than £10K and is a quite as most cars on the road sounds like some people on hear have had too much whine and winge! Rant over

Added some rear speakers to my Citigo today done by my own fair hand. You need to remove back seats, side trim radio and wire in new speakers great link on VW UP! site as to how to do it. Sound quality much imporved for the princely sum of £40! Mind bit of a fapp on to get the stereo back in as needed to add a connector from halfords whose chap was very helpful.

I have just thisn afternoon taken delivery from Caffyns of Ashford a standard 60PS SE model. Fabulous. Journey home averaged 66.6 mpg and drove it at 56-60 mph with some minor traffic light delays. Handles and rides well the rveiewers are right feels more like a bgger car. Surprised on M20 did not feel wind vibrations when heavy lorries passed me or I passed them. Really pleased with it, but it does not have the power for any motor way inclines but very hushed. It is a good car although my wife and children have scoffed at it as shrunken VW!

Black round things, How big and eco friendly are yours?

Bridgestone for me too on my 60ps SE standard model. -
Is it just me or do all the VW UP, Citigo and Mii look like they have minimum rust proofing under the rear wheel arch?

Well blow me after months of preferring the seats in the VW UP! I have gone and today put down a depoist on Skoda Citigo 3 door demonstrator from a dealer 20 miles away. Happy with the deal. 3 door SE in White. I liked it more than I thought and can live with the seats. May buy some seat covers for it, but not ones that look like a grandad although at 50 I could qualify! Anyone else bought a demo Citigo.

Thanks top the poster with the e-brochure. I am a passionate VW fan and only own VW. However, I am seriously thinking Skoda. In the past we have had a cracking Fabia TDi but I would like an Up! and to be honest the tinted rear glass is a must these days. To my pleasant surprise the more mundane middle of the range SE version boasts such an option at £160 which may tempt me away from the Up! Bluemotion. Has anyone sen the seats in the Move Up! frankly they are cheap and worse than the street urchin spec Take UP! My only cobncern about the Skoda is interiors and seat trim tend to be infinitely poorer than VW becuase this is where the cost savings are made? Who is conisdering a Citigo against and Up! and what is your reasoning as the VW Lupo out shone and out sold what became regarded as the poverty Seat Arosa. My concern is VW residuals will trounce Seat as a given and may also trounce Skoda, but the SEAT Mii will definitely lose the most money. Any views on residuals which ultimately are governed by desirabiliity and the Up! seems to have it all in these stakes.

Hello the yellow bottom left at 7 o'Clock Testing engine electronics engine warning light came on at abput 50 mph today and stayed on permanently. Cannot see anything wrong - any ideas as handbook says fault with engine electronics or exhaust emissions - caer still ran normally and temp gauge did not climb. Any ideas gratefuly received

Sport is quiet a motorway speeds and emits a saitisfying growl on acceleration. The seats and interior are leagues ahead of the mark 1 Vrs & the smoked rear glass does cool the car in more ways than one. try a red one - it looks great

Advice Octavia II for a newish fabia 1.9
balltofeet replied to balltofeet's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
Swopping a 1.9 Tdi for a TFSI VRS is not that daft. You currently pay 45 pence more for a gallon of diesel. The VRs is tremendous with diesel type torque and looks fantastic. Good on you. I like Sporty skoda cars they are under rated and subtle.
