i'd avoid the dealer altogether at those prices. i had mine replaced at half the price by a skoda specialist who i would highly recommend if you are near the Nottingham area?

my 06 Vrs also seems to be out by quite a long way on the trip computer. i tend to average between 50-55mpg according to the computer but i barely get 400 miles to a tank. i've never worked it out properly but someone on another thread figured i must be averaging in the low 40's with the mileage i'm getting. seems to be a common thing with 06's, has anyone queried it with a dealer yet and if so what was the outcome?

i've seen quite a few yellow ones round my way, they look pretty good. Plenty of black ones as well which always make me wish i'd had one! i'm still happy with silver though......honest!

My insurance is up for renewal and its not budged much on the price. it was the cheapest i could find to begin with but i'm sure i can do better than the renewal quote of just over 1k. i'm 22 years old with 2 years no claims and an SP30 on my license. is anyone in a similar position and if so who is the best to go with in your experience and what are you paying? bearing in mind i also have to insure for business use. i've not started shopping around yet but just thought i'd get an idea of where to look as this forum is always helpful! thanks in advance:thumbup:

Can someone please explain what the expansion tank is? is there a certain amount you can put in over and above when the pump clicks off???? these figures seem ridiculously high! as a few others have said i struggle to get 400 from a tank. cheers

There is not much chance of it being due to freezing with the weather of late and the front one still working fine so hopefully it should be ok. if not i'll look into fixing it myself, i know theres some useful guides on here but with it being under warranty i thought i'd take it to the dealer as the first port of call. i'll post how i got on if it will help others with this problem:thumbup:

the rear washer jet has stopped working on my 56 plate fabia vrs. i've done a search and it seems to be a common problem, however when i booked my car in the chap on the phone said he wasnt sure if it would be a warranty job or not. has anyone had problems with this and had to fork out whilst still under warranty? if so how much should i be expecting to pay? i really dont think it could be anything other than warranty work but i thought i'd come on here and see what the craic is! thanks in advance

Hi all, just bought a Fabia vRS and i'm absolutely chuffed to bits with it. was originally after a leon fr 150 but i'm glad i went for the vRS. this website helped with my decision so i thought i'd join and help convert others! i'm considering a revo remap at some point, has anyone had this done and what do you think to it? cheers
